These terms apply to every order placed through helenaskin.com. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them before you buy.
1. Who we are
This store is operated by Eleni Georgiou, 1 Stavros Stylianides Street, 2642 Episkopeio, Nicosia, Cyprus, VAT number CY00820638S, trading as Helena Skin & Beauty. In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean Eleni Georgiou.
2. Who can order
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. By ordering you confirm that you are.
3. Products
We sell cosmetic products. Cosmetics are intended to clean, perfume, protect and change the appearance of the skin. They are not medicines and they do not treat, prevent or cure any disease or medical condition.
We try to show our products accurately. Colours on your screen may differ slightly from the product itself, and packaging may change between batches. The ingredient list printed on the product you receive is the authoritative one. Always read it before use.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euro and include Cypriot VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you pay.
If we display a reduced price next to a higher crossed-out price, the crossed-out price is the lowest price at which we offered that product in the 30 days before the reduction, in line with Directive 2019/2161.
We may change prices at any time, but a change will never affect an order you have already placed.
5. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. If we cannot fulfil your order we will tell you and refund you in full.
We may refuse or cancel an order if the product is out of stock, if the price or description was clearly wrong, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud.
6. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through all major payment providers. We do not see or store your full card details.
7. Delivery
See our Shipping policy. Risk in the goods passes to you when you or someone you nominate takes physical possession of them.
8. Cancellation and returns
See our Refund policy. If you are a consumer in the EU you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days. We also offer our own, longer returns window, which is in addition to that right and does not replace it.
9. Using the products safely
Follow the instructions on the pack. Do not apply the product to broken, irritated or sunburnt skin. Avoid the eye area. Stop using it if irritation occurs.
Our products contain fragrance (parfum) and alcohol. If your skin reacts easily, apply a small amount behind the ear and wait 24 hours before applying it to the face.
Keep out of reach of children. Not suitable for use on children.
If you have a skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under the care of a dermatologist, speak to a healthcare professional before use.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Cypriot law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for losses arising because you used a product in a way we did not intend, or for business losses.
Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by anything in these terms.
11. Intellectual property
The Helena Skin & Beauty name, the content of this website, its text, images and design are ours or are used with permission. Do not copy or reuse them without our written consent.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it.
13. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. As a consumer you may bring proceedings in the country where you live, and you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection rules of that country.
